  4. Sooooooooooooo envious of the Strout! I didn't like State of Wonder but other bloggers adored it -- can't wait to see what you think of it!

  5. I also got The Burgess Boys, but none of the others. My selection this week was interesting too though, so I am not too envious :) I hope that you enjoy all of them, especially State of Wonder. That was one of my favorites of last year!

I have yet to read any of Rae-Lee's books but he's on my list of authors to make sure I read. I've read great reviews of Patchett's book and have enjoyed some of her others so I'm looking forward to this one.
    Thank you for commenting!

I like the Phillip Rock books. I'll admit, although, that I was getting a little bit of burn out by the end of the second one, but The Future Arrived has several new characters and storylines. I cannot read it fast enough!
I'm so glad you're enjoying them, too.

I wasn't all that intersted in reading State of Wonder until I read your review. I expected you'd probably like it as everyone else did. The fact that you didn't piqued my curiosity. Still, I'm not itchingg to pick it up but I plan to read it while reading something I expect I'll adore such as The Year of the Gadfly ...I know you loved this.
I'm loving The Burgess Boys so far!

It's great you received The Burgess Boys, too. We'll have to compare notes.
I noticed you seem to be concentrating on audios lately. I'm going to try some soon as the more I think about hearing the story done well, the more intrigued I am!

I've enjoyed the books I've read by Ann Patchett but State of Wonder was everywhere last year so I decided to wait on it. When I saw such a nice copy for sale I couldn't pass it up. Now I just hope I like it!

I have a lot of books in that position. Andrea at the blog Good Thoughts is hosting a readalong of Wife 22 in March. Melanie Gideon, the authos, is going to join the discussion and is also available on twitter. That was my incentive to read Wife 22 now! If you're interested and since you already have the book, maybe you'll join in?!
