There are many books I have obsessively loved over the course of my reading history: The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery and more recently, Crossing to Safety and Angle of Repose by Wallace Stegner. Currently I am loving Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. It's a brilliant book with intriguing, nutty characters, terrific satire, many sections that are laugh out loud funny. It's a huge book at 1,104 pages and I love that! I'm taking my time reading it, going back over pages and chapters I liked and re-reading them, taking my time getting used to Wallace's writing style and the flow of the book. But, really, I'm just thoroughly enjoying Infinite Jest so much that, even with half of the book remaining for me to read, I'm already dreading the end!
