Teaser Tuesday 9.21.10

Teaser Tuesdays is a very interesting & fun book-related meme, hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. Be prepared to add several new books to your TBR list! I do every week!

My Teaser:

" Then there was screaming, a terrible keening. A horrible, primal wail that connected with every nerve ending in my body, causing me to cry out. "Marc! Marcus!". But the screaming just went on, rocketing through my nervous system, until the line went suddenly dead."

from Die For You by Lisa Unger (p.21)

Anyone can play along! If you'd like to participate, Just do the following:
*Grab your current read
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. (I used 3 this week!)
*BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

*And, finally, don't forget to link your post to MizB's at Should Be Reading. If you don't have a blog, simply share your "teasers" in a comment.

  4. Oh my! That's all I can say.

My teaser is much less stressful, if you want a break from the tension. You can find it here.

  10. TheBookishSnob: This book is way better than I expected it to be. Alot of suspense, some great characters and it's pretty well written. I'm pleasantly surprised & really enjoying it. If you have the chance, definitely pick up a copy!

JoJo: This is my first book by Unger. I saw this book in a local used bookstore & I really liked the cover. I remembered "Fragile" was being reviewed favorably in some of the blogs. And I also thought it would be a good book for the RIP Challenge! And, it turns out it's a great book!

Jennifer: I recommend this book. It's filled with suspense, mystery, great characters & lots of action. I find it hard to put down!

The Bumbles: I'm with you! I'm not a big phone person anyway. If I got that kind of call, I think I'd unplug the phones & be done with them!

Sandy: This is the first of Unger's books I've read. It's much better than I expected & I'm glad I picked it up. It's great for the RIP Challenge, too!

  12. KathyA: I'd love to know what you think about Firefly Lane. I read several good reviews of it but I've never read anything by Kristin Hannah.

JLShall: I found this in a used bookstore & it's the first I heard of it. I wasn't familiar with Unger until I saw her new book "Fragile" in several blogs. Die For You is great. If you like mystery/suspense I completely recommend it!

Nise': Glad you liked it & I feel the same way. I definitely want to read more of Lisa Unger's books!
