Wordless Wednesday 9.22.10 Kittens!!

Several months ago, Betsy, one of the stray cats we rescued out of a tree & feed regularly surprised us with kittens! Cute, cuddly, absolutely adorable kittens! All but one have been adopted. Here some pictures of them when they were about a month old. Next week I will show off Lola, the kitten who joined the rest of our gang!

Franklin (Frankie) is the kitten staring at the camera, surrounding him in the tangle of kitten bodies, paws & tails are Percy, Wallace (Wally) & Lola! The 3 boys are all black & white with cute little white paws. For several weeks they were tough to tell apart but they have different markings which helped. Lola, the only female in the litter, is mostly black with a small white patch of fur on her chest & belly.

  5. KATHYA: Aren't they?! Thank you. It was very hard to part with the boys. Two were adopted together & one went to a home with another kitten & reports were that the kittens were getting along famously!

BERMUDAONION: Thank you! I loved how they slept on top of eacxh other in funny positions.

AVISANNSCHILD: Thank you, they are so cute, right? They were adorable to watch, too and so cuddly! As the proud momma, I have many, many pictures of Lola so no worries, I'll post them soon!

  6. AMUSED: Thank you! I appreciate you stopping by!

VIVIENNE: Hi! Thanks, they are cxute, aren't they? Kittens, esp. very young ones are irresistible, I think. These guys & gal played together & then would collapse in a heap, exhausted!

KATHLEEN: Thank you! I wish my photos were a little bit better quality but I'm happt to know their "adorable-ness" comes through!

  7. SANDY: Oh boy, are you right about that! When these guys were really little, after a half hour of playing they'd collapse & sleep for hours. They play in a very small area, too, no wandering. But at 2-3 months they became nuts! Running, jumping, rolling, twisting, turning! Amazing energy! It was hilarious to watch them, though. Sometimes, they would fall asleep in my lap afterwards!

JOANN: Hi! Thank you, I think so!

PESKY CAT: Thank you! Betsy is so very happy that she's been scknowledges! It's easy for mom cat to get over-looked when her adorable babies are all around! :o)

JULIA: Thank you! And thenk you for coming by my blog!
