I used to work as a prosecutor and then an attorney for social services. I had to 'retire' on disability because of health problems. I spend my days reading, blogging about books, reviewing books, writing and caring for the cats my husband and I rescue from the streets. I would like to get involved with some program(s) advocating for the disabled. And find some employment that involves writing, books and/or advocating for disabled people! I have a rare bone and endocrine disease, McCune-Albright's Syndrome, asthma and some other health concerns. The cat in my profile pic is Bob aka Big Beautiful & Sexy Bob as his vet calls him!

ReplyDeleteAll mamas should be pampered today. Mamas of kitties included! My daughter and I spent a couple of hours at the animal shelter today, and got some kitten fix. It is kitten season in there, and they are everywhere. We also received a 24 pound Hemingway cat today that was GORGEOUS (as well as matted and very pissed off). I've never seen such a cat before. It breathed with its mouth open, and was drooling everywhere.
