Monday Movies ~ Flower Power!

Feature Presentation...

MONDAY MOVIE MEME

April showers bring May flowers...at least that's the way it used to be. But in the last few years we are likely to have snow one day and 80 degree temps the next as early March 1st. Confused, the flowers start blooming and buds appear on trees in March! I've seen beautiful Tulips and Daffodils in full bloom already! Flowers and plants are popular in the movies. They might be the names of characters or actual characters. They might be seen in aesthetically beautiful backdrops or be the theme of the movie. Share on your blog films that feature any variety of flower or plant in some capacity, linking your post back to The Bumbles Blog. If you don't have a blog, list your choices in the comment section of The Bumbles Movie post!

Greenfingers (2000)

Saving Grace (2000)

Adaptation (2002)

Bed of Roses (1996)

  5. Okay, now...can you seriously pull all of these titles out of your memory?! I can never think of a thing. I didn't know there was a 2000 adaptation of Flowers for Algernon.

  7. LINDSEY: Thanks! I realize a few of these only applied because of the title but Bed of Roses fits the theme quite well!

BERMUDAONION: No worries! More often than not, if the movies are book adaptation, the books are better anyway!

KWIZGIVER: Harrison's Flowers is a pretty good movie. I saw it a long time ago but liked it!

  8. THE BUMBLES: I adore Saving Grace! I LOL just thinking about some of the scenes!

LISA: This week I can honestly answer yes but plenty of times I need Google to help me remember a movie name or a year. I prefer the older movie version Of Flowers for Algernon.

ZIBILEE: I highly recommend Saving Grace, it's a charming & very funny movies set in England. Broadway Danny Rose and Purple Rose of Cairo are Woody Allen movies & I am a huge fan. Adaptation is the movie version of the book, The Orchid Thief and is quite good.
