~ Saturday Snapshot ~
I was looking through some old photos the other day and came across these of Ophelia. She's no longer with us but I love these photos because they show how much she enjoyed life. She was a great cat with a big personality! Ophelia loved to sleep in funny positions, enjoyed playing hard but was also very sweet. She never simply walked into a room but she bounded in at high speeds and it looked as if she was applying the brakes (much like Wile e Coyote) so she didn't crash into a wall! I miss her and I'm happy I have wonderful memories of Ophelia.

She definitely seems to have quite the personality. I love the third picture of her sleeping up against the pillow on her back. Her little cat feet are so cute!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to walk down memory lane with our beloved pets. Ophelia looks like she was one precious cat. {{hugs}}
What a fun cat! I loved the description of her putting on the breaks! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty cat! I love the fact that she slept this way and that way. She reminds me of a cat we had named Jonathan - has the look of him too, but she was longer haired. He was a great cat - a mighty hunter - to my displeasure sometimes. LOL
ReplyDeleteVery cute! We had a part Maine Coon cat that looked like her -- Markie wasn't a very nice girl though:(
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like a cat for napping! So cozy :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that you have so many pictures to remember her by.
ReplyDeleteMakes herself right at home. Was that paper towels she's playing with in the last picture?
ReplyDeleteAw, what a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteShe does look like she was a blast to have around. It's nice that you have such warm memories of her.

ReplyDeleteShe's a cutie for sure. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteshe's lovely.
ReplyDeleteShe was a beautiful cat, that last picture tells me she was a rascal!
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd photo is my favorite with the 4th following close behind. What a personality...you can see it in her face. Her comfort says a lot about you as a pet parent as well...she knew she was loved and safe. I'm so thankful of the photos we have of our beloved pets over the years as well.
ReplyDeleteLove these shots of Ophelia! Thanks for sharing your memories of her.
