Monday Movies - Change Is In the Air!

Feature Presentation...

Happy 2011! The New Year is upon us and with that many of us will make resolutions we may or may not keep! When Resolutions stick the improvements are worth the effort. In films the stories very often involve a significant change of thought and ideal in a main character for better or worse. Share on your blog characters who changed dramatically during the course of the film. Link your post back to The Bumbles Blog. If you don't have a blog, list your choices in the comment section of The Bumbles Movie post!

Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)

Will Hunting in Good Will Hunting (1997)

Edward Jessup in Altered States (1980)

Samuel Ramos in Man on Fire (2004)

Harvey Dent in Dark Knight (2008)

Ira in Suicide Kings (1997)

  1. Anakin...for sure a good one. Will Hunting and his his therapist too! Need to see some of these others! I've heard great things. Happy New Year to you too! And good luck on your reading this year!

  2. Harvey Dent! That is an excellent one!

  3. I think I saw Return of the Jedi, but all the other movies are new to me.

  4. My fav will always be Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. It doesn't hurt that it's Audrey Hepburn. And there's singing involved. And great costumes!

  5. Oh, Will Hunting is a perfect choice! Wish I'd thought of him :)

  6. Hanging my head in shame for not thinking of my favorite babe Matt Damon. He has played a lot of transformed characters - The Talented Mr. Ripley, Jason Bourne, Dogma to name a few...

  7. HMSGOFITA: Thank you! and thanks for visiting! I meant ti include Will Hunting's therapist & forgot...good point!

SANDY: Thanks! Now I keeping thinking about the creepy side of his face! lol

BERMUDAONION: Good Will Hunting is one I really love and Suicide Kings, too but I am a big fan of Christopher Walken!

  8. LISA: Great choice! How could i forgot Audrey Hepburn as Eliza Doolittle?! Ugh! Thank you!

STACYBUCKEYE: I love MA so that movie came to mind quickly. Matt Damon is a great actor too!

THE BUMBLES: Well, it's your theme so it sort of like you picked him too because you gave me the opportunity to! lol (..a bit of a stretch?!) Besides you had some great character choices!
