How beautiful it is to do nothing, and then rest afterward.

It's been a long, wonderful, tiring week. Enjoy your Saturday!
I used to work as a prosecutor and then an attorney for social services. I had to 'retire' on disability because of health problems. I spend my days reading, blogging about books, reviewing books, writing and caring for the cats my husband and I rescue from the streets. I would like to get involved with some program(s) advocating for the disabled. And find some employment that involves writing, books and/or advocating for disabled people! I have a rare bone and endocrine disease, McCune-Albright's Syndrome, asthma and some other health concerns. The cat in my profile pic is Bob aka Big Beautiful & Sexy Bob as his vet calls him!
Aren't cats the cutest, smartest and bestest pets?! I think they are :)
ReplyDeleteThis is the picture that reminds me of my Casper, except Casper doesn't have the black ears. We are still on vacation...we got up at 4:40 this morning to drive from French Lick, Indiana to my parents house, then went to a college football game. We lost, and we all got sunburns. I'm trying to soak in the wonderful goodness of my childhood home for less than 24 hours before we have to fly back tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI hear you! I'm exhausted from this BBAW!!! The quote is the BEST!
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I should have been doing all day! But I wasn't. :(
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photo! That's exactly how I spent my Saturday. Well, how I wanted to anyway. LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute picture!!!
ReplyDeleteLilly: Yes, yes! (I love dogs, too, but there's something special about cats!)
ReplyDeleteSandy: it sounds like you had a wonderful, fun time! I know you are back home now, it's always a little hard to come home especially from your first home.
Jenners: Me too! Glad you like the quote. It's great to see you here! Thank you for coming by.
Kathy: So good to see you. I'll stop by soon. I hope you can follow Huxley's example soon! He's the best when it comes to sleeping. lol
Literary Feline: That's the life, uh? If you were able to relax like Huxley for even an hour, I'd say you are doing well! Good to see you here.
Willoughby: Thank you! (Huxley's pretty much my favorite, shhhh! lol) He's not that smart but so cute & a big mush.
