The smallest feline is a masterpiece.

Here she is....Betsy! I wish the picture quality was better. My digital camera isn't working properly so I used a disposal. I will be getting better pictures in the future. But you can see she's small and skinny with BIG eyes and a BIG nose and very long front legs with cute, white booties! She's absolutely adorable (not pretty really) with a wonderful personality - crazy energetic kitten and super, mushy loud purring kitten!
I'm a little embarassed. Betsy's surroundings are messy, cluttered and covered with cat-nip and the cat bathroom is a mess, has definitely seen better days! I have plans to make changes, decorate etc. but for now it is what it is and, most importantly for Sam and I is that the cats are happy and comfortable! I didn't clean or pick-up around her before the pics, just wanted to get them while she was sitting there. Betsy doesn't really like the camera much.
I hope you're having a fun Saturday!
Amy
Betsy is a cutie! I don't mind the mess. If you take a good look at any of my pictures, you can tell my house is well lived in. And it never fails that the best pictures always have to be taken when my house is not at its best. LOL Anyhow, Betsy takes center stage--I didn't notice anything else in the photos but her. :-)
ReplyDeleteBetsy is cute but she reminds of the femal cat always running from Pepe Le Pew! And she has quite a nose on her. LOL But my heart swells when she hops onto the bed or sits in my lap kneading.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words! You put my mind at ease! 8 cats make a bit of a mess so my home is no place for fastidious people. But it's comfy. I confess not to be the best cleaner - between the cats and the difficulty cleaning because of the wheelchair/crutches it's just not my greatest talent. Oh well :o)
Don't worry a bit about your bathroom! Betsy is so cute, who would be able to notice anything else in the pictures??
ReplyDeleteIf it's any consolation, my house is immaculate while my kids are at school. Ten minutes after they get home there are food crumbs, jackets, shoes and school books everywhere! Right now my kitchen is covered in parts and pieces from an electronic project my husband and son are working on. You just can't win!
Betsy looks right at home! Picking up a house is a never ending job. Today, I spent most of the day cleaning the kitchen and family room and there is already stuff around as soon as anyone gets home. Kids and cats must be the same!!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks like one of a kind, and I love her name. And what's a little disorder when you're having fun, right?
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet baby! I have only two cats and they keep my house in shambles - I can't imagine having eight to pick up after. If I had that sweetie, I wouldn't have time to clean anyway - I'd spend all my time playing with her.
ReplyDeleteAwwww! Her front legs are as long as the rest of her body. There is always disorder when you have a cat around (or five!). She seems to love the toilet seat!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! I especially like the top pic of her on the toilet seat -- she looks very much at home (and as if she owns the place)!
ReplyDeleteBetsy is beautiful!! And it appears that she's toilet trained as well!!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable.
ReplyDeleteAmy, we have an award for you! Please stop by and accept it!
ReplyDeleteBetsey is adorable and congrats on the award.
ReplyDeleteWilloughby: Thank you! I remember my mother used to throw up her hands and leave the room mutterung about having just cleaned!
ReplyDeleteKathy: I was surprised how quickly Betsy settled in. She only seemed a little nervous her first night here but since then she acts like she's the queen of the place! I think that cats are like small children in their need for attention and the messes they can make!
Sandy: Some days I think her name fits her, some days I'm not sure but I like the name and she answers to it! For a while I tried to keep our home super clean and tidy but we have too many cats and I realized that taking care of the cats is more important to me than a little clutter and dust!
Sweet Virginia Breeze: You called it right! I spend a lot of my time playing with the cats, cuddling them and feeding them. They all really love to play, it's just a matter of discovering what toy they like best - some like balls, some like string, some love cat-nip, some aren't interested at all etc. I love figuring out their likes/dislikes and personalities!
ReplyDeleteavisannschild: Betsy has a thing for the toilet seat, maybe it's the color?! (my husband thought the cats would like a bright color, seems he was right!) Betsy has no problem going anywhere she wants. I pulled back the shower curtain in our bathroom the other day and she was asleep in the tub stretched out on her back, happy as could be!
Kathy: Thank you! LOL Too bad she isn't! Even though many of our cats like to go outside, almost all of them use the litter boxes! I guess they like litter!
Vivienne: Thank you! Good to see you!
Kathy: Thank you to you and Seashell! You're so sweet!
Esme: Thank you! Glad you like her! It's great to see you! And thank you about the award. But you gave me my first award which I still need to display!
Betsy's adorable! How about those Jets today?! I just hope that your husband doesn't decide that he wants to paint a room the retro Jets colors!
ReplyDeleteNow there is a cat who can get comfortable anywhere...LOL Love it.
ReplyDeleteAwww! What a cutie! :)
ReplyDeleteShe's got the funniest perch - I don't blame you for scrambling for a photo. She's made herself right at home ;0)
ReplyDeleteBetsy is the sweetest! Loved seeing all the pics of her. She looks like she is very comfortable in her new home. She is lucky to have you!
